About the association
Parents and supporters who want to make more possible for the children of KiTa Unter'm Regenbogen, founded on 28 August 2026. Registration as an e. V. is under way.
How it all began
It started with a cancelled trip: the nursery's annual outing to the animal park could not take place because the buses could not be funded. That frustration turned into an idea: a support association that closes exactly these gaps. The nursery management explicitly encouraged the founding, and the parents' representatives took it on.
What we do
We support the education and development of the children by backing the nursery both practically and financially: trips and buses, equipment such as play and learning materials, festivals and events. Importantly, we fund the extras; the provider's responsibilities remain the provider's. The board decides on spending in line with the statutes, and on this website we show transparently what happens with the money.
Membership
Anyone can become a member. Having a child at the nursery is not required. The minimum fee is €1 a month or €12 a year, €10 a month is recommended, and you choose the amount yourself. Fees are collected conveniently by SEPA direct debit, monthly or yearly. You can join right here online. It only takes a few minutes.
Where we stand
The association was founded on 28 August 2026 at the nursery, with statutes pre-checked by the tax office. Next come the entry in the register of associations at the Lübeck local court, charitable status and the bank account. You can already become a member; fee collection only starts once the account is open.
