Registered and charitable

A good four weeks after our founding, the big formalities are done:

• Charitable status: In its notice of 8 September 2026, the Kiel tax office confirmed that our statutes meet the requirements for charitable status (§ 60a AO). Membership fees and donations are therefore tax-deductible.
• Registered: Since 23 September 2026, the association has been entered in the register of associations at the Lübeck local court (VR 5064 HL). The association “in formation” has become an e. V.
• Bank account: At the end of September we opened our account with Sparkasse Holstein.

What this means for you

You can donate right away. On our donations page you will find our bank details and a GiroCode that you simply scan with your banking app. For donations up to €300, your bank statement together with our receipt, which you can download there, is sufficient for the tax office. We send out donation certificates once a year; for larger donations you can also request one directly on the donations page.

You can become a member at any time, online in just a few minutes. Fee collection starts once our association software is set up, in January 2027 at the latest. Every collection is announced in advance, and no fees are charged for the time before.

What comes next

Next, we will set up our association software and choose the first projects together with the nursery. As soon as they are decided, we will present them here, with their goal and current donation total. Every fee and every donation goes into our work for the children.
